Your Quiet Answer ("we," "us," or "our") is a service of Arvane Media LLC, a limited liability company registered in Utah, USA. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use yourquietanswer.com.
Information you provide: When you use our free tier or subscribe, we collect your name and email address. If you subscribe, payment information is collected directly by Paddle.com — we never store your payment details.
Quiz responses: We collect your answers to our quiz questions to generate your personalized teaching. These responses are used only to provide the service and are not sold to third parties.
Your Life in Weeks (age): If you choose to use this feature, you enter your age so we can show you a visualization of weeks lived. This value is stored only on your own device and is never required to use the rest of the app. If you are a subscriber, we may also store this age value on your account record so it can sync across the devices you're signed in on.
Journal entries: If you choose to use the journal feature, anything you write is stored only on your own device's local browser storage. We do not transmit, view, or store your journal entries on our servers, and we do not send journal content to any third party, including our AI provider. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app will permanently delete these entries, since no copy exists elsewhere.
Usage data: We may collect basic analytics such as pages visited and features used, to improve the service.
We use your information to deliver and improve our service, send you your teaching and any subscription-related communications, and send optional weekly wisdom emails if you have subscribed to them. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
By providing your email address, you agree to receive your requested teaching and relevant service updates. If you subscribe to our email list, you will receive periodic wisdom content. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
If you choose to enable push notifications, your browser or device generates a push subscription (an endpoint and encryption keys) which we store so we can deliver your requested notifications, such as daily teachings or reminders. We do not use this to track your location or activity outside the app, and we do not sell or share this information with third parties. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device or browser notification settings, or through any in-app notification controls we provide. Disabling notifications removes your stored subscription so no further notifications can be sent to that device.
Paddle: Payment processing is handled by Paddle.com. Please review Paddle's privacy policy at paddle.com/privacy for information about how they handle payment data.
Brevo: We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to manage email communications. Your email address and name may be stored in Brevo's systems.
Anthropic: AI-generated content is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. Quiz responses may be sent to Anthropic to generate teachings. Please review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Your email and name are stored securely in our email service provider. Quiz responses are processed in real-time and not permanently stored in a database linked to your identity. Push notification subscriptions are stored only for the purpose of delivering notifications you've requested. Journal entries and your local age setting for Your Life in Weeks are kept exclusively in your browser's local storage on your own device, not on our servers.
We use browser local storage to remember your subscription status, language preference, journal entries, and Your Life in Weeks age setting on your device. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account and data yourself at any time on our account deletion page, or contact us at hello@yourquietanswer.com. We will respond to any request within 30 days. Because journal entries and your Your Life in Weeks age setting are stored locally on your device rather than on our servers, you can also delete them at any time by clearing your browser's site data for yourquietanswer.com, or using any in-app delete controls we provide.
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
